PRIME MINISTER’S BREXIT PLEDGE TO JP MORGAN – After a meeting between @Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan, @Theresa May, the Prime Minister and Chancellor @Philip Hammond, JP Morgan now have more clarity regarding Brexit. It was previously reported that JP planned to move around 4,000 jobs away from The City. A spokesperson at JP has said “We appreciated hearing from the Prime Minister and her time today. While some uncertainty remains, we feel that the government understands the concerns of international firms such as ours, and the economy more broadly.” Going on to say “we were grateful for better clarity on the government’s objectives in the Brexit negotiations.” As an outcome of the meeting the US power house have committed to maintaining a ‘large proportion’ of their UK staff, however the exact number will be dependent on trade arrangements that are made. #SpartanInternational
