J.P.MORGAN TO BUILD TALLEST BANKING TOWER IN THE US – J.P.M on Wednesday 21st announced they had struck a deal with Mayor Bill de Blasio to tear down its 60 year old Park Avenue headquarters and replace it with a 2.5m sq ft tower, which will be ready to move in by 2024. The building will become one of the tallest buildings in New York and upon completion will be the tallest bank building in the country, standing at between 70-75 stories high. The building will top rival banking towers such as Bank of America’s 55-floor tower on the north-west corner of Bryant Park, also their 60-floor HQ in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the 42 story Wells Fargo Tower. The Mayor of New York Bill de Blasio has said in a statement, “We look forward to working with JPMorgan Chase as it doubles down on New York as its international home.” #SpartanInternational
