GOLDMAN ACQUIRES NEW PARTNER – Goldman Sachs has bought the startup firm Clarity Money, a personal finance app. This has been in an effort to bolster their online lending business, Marcus. Goldman Sachs buying the app is expected to add over 1 million customers to the firm’s Marcus business. Marcus will offer tools to help users save and borrow money, Clarity Money will be rebranded to Marcus over time. Goldman launched Marcus in October 2016 and offers loans of $3,500 to $40,0000, targeting credit card borrowers who would be able to consolidate all debt into one loan that would be charged at a lower interest rate. Clarity Money CEO will be joining Goldman Sachs as a partner. #SpartanInternational
