CARNEY FORECASTS 40TRILLION GDP BOOST – In an interview with the Guardian, Mark Carney the Governor of the Bank of England, has said, “if the UK financial system thrives in a post-Brexit world, which is the plan, it will not be 10 times GDP, it will be 15 to 20 times GDP in another quarter of century because we will keep our market share of cross-border capital flows. Well then you really have to hold your nerve and keep the focus.” The current GDP of the UK is around £1.9 trillion, which would indicate Carney believes the GDP could go up to nearly £40 trillion in the next 25 years. He also commented saying, that the success of this lies in the hands of the government and their ability to maintain ‘strong regulatory framework’ post Brexit. How will Brexit turn out? There’s only one way to find out, if at all. #SpartanInternational
